Refund & Cancellation Policy – Salsa Madras Graz

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all classes, courses, workshops, bootcamps, events, and services (“Services”) offered by Salsa Madras through www.salsamadras.at or in person in Graz, Austria.

By registering for or purchasing any Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Policy.

1. General Policy

All payments made to Salsa Madras are binding once confirmed. Due to the nature of dance classes and events—where planning, venue bookings, and instructor commitments are made in advance—refunds are limited and subject to the conditions below.

2. Courses & Regular Classes

2.1 Course Enrollment

  • Course fees are non-refundable once the course has started, regardless of attendance.

  • Missed classes cannot be refunded and cannot be carried forward to another course unless explicitly stated.

2.2 Cancellation Before Course Start

  • Cancellation is allowed 5 min before the start of the class. 

2.3 Course Transfers

  • At the discretion of Salsa Madras, a course credit may be transferred to another course or season.

  • Transfers are not guaranteed and depend on availability and scheduling feasibility.

3. Workshops, Bootcamps & Special Events

3.1 Participant Cancellation

  • Workshop, bootcamp, and event tickets are non-refundable.

  • Tickets may be transferred to another person if Salsa Madras is informed in writing at least 24 hours before the event.

3.2 Event Changes or Cancellation by Salsa Madras

  • If Salsa Madras cancels an event, participants will receive:

    • a full refund, or

    • the option to transfer the payment to another event or course.

  • Salsa Madras reserves the right to modify instructors, schedules, or formats if required due to unforeseen circumstances.

4. Private Classes

  • Private lessons must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged in full.

  • Prepaid private lesson packages are non-refundable but may be used within their stated validity period.

5. Health, Injury & Personal Circumstances

  • Refunds are not provided due to illness, injury, travel issues, work commitments, or personal circumstances.

  • In exceptional cases (e.g., long-term medical issues supported by documentation), Salsa Madras may offer a course credit at its sole discretion.

6. Force Majeure

Salsa Madras shall not be held liable for cancellations or changes caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • natural disasters

  • government restrictions

  • public health emergencies

  • venue unavailability

In such cases, refunds are not guaranteed, but credits or rescheduling options may be offered.

7. Payment Processing

  • Refunds, where applicable, will be processed using the original payment method.

  • Any transaction or payment-gateway fees are non-refundable.

8. Governing Law

This Refund & Cancellation Policy is governed by the laws of Austria, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Austrian courts.
