Latin dance scenes usually grow around one of two things: a strong local teaching base, or a connection to the wider international festival circuit. Graz has built both. Salsa Madras runs structured Salsa ON2 beginner-through-advanced classes, and the city has its own special social fixture — Ritmo Madras, a Saturday event held monthly or bi-monthly that raises the energy beyond the usual weekly nights.

That matters for a beginner: it means the skills you learn in a Graz classroom transfer directly to dance floors anywhere else in Europe.
